Indiana USSSA is proud be the host of the USSSA Great Lakes Nationals in Columbus, Indiana July 6-11, 2026. This will be the 25th Nationals that Indiana has held and has been regarded as one of the best national event in the country.
This is a stay to play event as we do have to block off hotels in order to have them for our teams. We will hold rooms up to two weeks prior to the start of the event. Some have ask about camp ground sites and that is fine, all we ask is to let us know where you plan to stay. We try to keep up with everything so we can do an economic impact for the community. Indiana USSSA does not receive one penny off the stay to play.

Pin trading can be done anytime during the parade of evening activities on Monday.

Tournament rules:
All rules will be under USSSA Rules (rules can be found on line) Any rule not covered we will refer to the national federation rulebook.
Run rules:
12 after 3 innings
10 after 4 innings
8 after 5 innings.
(EXCEPTION OF RULE) 8U has run rules after 4 and 5 innings of play that are in effect.
Time limit for all games:
All games are 75 minute games.complete the inning
Pool play may end in tie
Bracket play must produce winners.
Seeding into bracket will be determined from pool play.
Seeding is done through the USSSA database and we will uphold all standing according to the website.
Pool games will be seeded on points plus power.
Coin flip is done to determine home team in pool play.
Higher seed from bracket will be determined from higher seed out of pool play into bracket.
Home team will be the official scorekeeper.
Protest fees:
$150 for protest and must be in cash. If you win protest fees are returned. If you lose protest your lose fees.
Protest can be made by any team at any time.
If using an illegal player and it is caught in pool play, then that player is removed from the event and team placed last in pool.
If caught in bracket, then that team is removed from the event and placed last place.
All games played and completed before the protest of an illegal play will stand.
All rosters must be on line 30 days prior to the event as they will be locked for this event.Up to a total of 15 players are allowed on roster and guest roster.
Teams may use guest players as long as those guest player are approved by the USSSA website.
No player can be dropped sown in class to play on a lower class team in the national event.

Indiana USSSA wil have a facebook page for the 2026 Great Lakes Nationals to follow.
The tournament director has the option to change the format of the event in case of inclement weather to get winners in. In nationals events there are no refunds given after tournament starts.
We have a total of 24 fields with 16 being turf. AZll turf fields will be used first.
We do have a zero tolerance policy for spectators: If a spectator is removed from a game, then they are removed from the event. Please let coaches address any issues. We want this to be a fun and rewarding experience for all the girls
Park rules:
There are no pets allowed at any playing fields.
No alcohol allowed
No tobacco use which includes vaping allowed in any park.
Team coolers are allowed.
All teams must have a first aid kit in the dugout.
Weekly gate fees $50
Day fees $20
Seniors weekly $30
Senior day $20
Under 10 free
Failure to wear your pass or sharing your pass at anytime will result in ejection from the park. You must have passes on when entering and leaving park.
USSSA or any parks not are responsible for any injuries that occur such as balls overthrown, foul balls, home runs, etc. You enter the parks at our own risk.
Please let a staff official know if at anytime restrooms or trash need attention.
