Welcome to the 2024 Indiana USSSA State Championships. We are excited to be hosting the 25th State Tournament .Many changes have occurred over the years, especially with the growth of the sport and now watching our young ladies from Indiana play at the elite level in college, The Big 10, The SEC, The ACC, The Big East, The Mac and the Big 12,
Things to know about this event:
To play in this event you must be a team sanction from Indiana. If you are an out of state team you must play up in Classification, regardless how you state classifies your team.
The event may start as early at 9:00AM on Friday. We cannot guarantee start times due to the fact that this event is a seeded event into a 3 game bracket.
All rosters must be on line. Failure to do so and protested, then your team will be removed from the event and placed last in the tournament.
All coaches must check in with the director before the first game.
Payments must be paid 14 days prior to event.
Once event is drawn there will be no refunds issued, unless a replacement team is found.
Rules for the event:
USSSA rules will be applied. If there is a rule not covered under USSSA, then we refer to the National Federation book.
Some common questions:
How many batters may bat? You may roster bat your entire lineup if you choose
Can we DP/Flex bat? Yes you may. The DP/Flex are tied together
Who can be a courtesy runners? Courtesy runner is a sub if you have one first. If no sub then LCAB will be.
Lineup cards how to write them? List all players including subs. First Initial, last name, number and position
How many coaches allowed? Three coaches plus a scorebook keeper.
Who is the official scorekeeper? The home team is consider official, however it must be a scorebook.
How early will games start? Games will start as early as 15 minutes prior to your schedule
How is seeding determined? Seeding is determined of points plus power points
What time will parks open? Parks open 1hour and 30 minutes prior to first game.
How much are protest fees? $150 cash
Zero Tolerance Policy:
?Indiana USSSA will not allowed abuse toward their staff. This includes, Gate workers, Umpires, Directors, UIC and park personnel. Any coach ejected will be out for two games. Any spectator ejected will be removed from the remainder of the event.
Rain out info: 812-350-3272 will be updated accordingly as needed. Emails will also be sent out to teams in the event. We will also update the Indiana USSSA Facebook page.
Park rules:
No pets are allowed.
No alcohol is allowed at any park
No smoking allowed includes vaping
