Showcase Series Event

What are the Showcase Series Events?

A points race series with a GRAND prize of $2000.00 per age group (14u – 18u). Bring your teams and a competitive spirit… who knows, it could be your team taking home the GRAND prize!!

Points system for Showcase Series Events

1st Place – 15 points

2nd Place – 14 points

3rd Place – 13 points

4th Place – 12 points

5th Place – 11 points

6th place and beyond – 10 points

 Teams must play in at least 3 of the Showcase Series Events to qualify.

Grand Prize is $2000.00 to the winner of the points race in each age division (14u – 18u).

Modified Showcase Rules

4 Showcase Pool Play Games

• 1 hour 15-minute game times, finish this inning.
• Bat entire Line – up (if desired)
• Free defensive substitutions, courtesy runner for Pitcher / catcher(furthest away or sub), must keep the integrity of the batting line – up.
• Run rule 10, 8, 6 after 3, 4, 5.
• All scores will be reported as it, no revert back rule.
• Forfeits will be recorded as 7 – 0, if a game is in progress and the losing team decides to forfeit, the score at the time of the forfeit will be recorded  score  or 7 – 0, whichever is greater.
• Pool play games can end in a tie.
• Coin flip will determine the home team.

Bracket Games

• Top 2 teams in each pool will advance into a single elimination tournament.
• The same rules apply as in pool play.
• Must have a winner.
• Higher seed has choice of visitors or home team, in the event that both teams are the same seed, we will go to a coinflip.

All teams must be USSSA sanctioned and rosters online to participate in this event. Guest players are allowed but must be added to the online roster.

Gate Fees - There will be a $250.00 team gate fee for all teams. This is much cheaper for families. Teams much check in with the tournament director at each park prior to your first game with your teams gate fee.
