Welcome back to the Indiana USSSA 2026 season. If you are a new team, then welcome aboard to the biggest events in the state of Indiana. If you are a returbning team thank you for your continued support. We hope to make this year even better.

For those that don't know me, my name is Tim Foster and I am the Indiana USSSA State Director and the USSSA Great Lakes Regional Director. My staff and I are here to help in anyway we can. We pride ourself on great service.

Here are some things you will need to know about USSSA:

After registering your team on the website, you will need to put your roster on line.

All coaches need to be background checked with USSSA.

The website will make you register A or B, then after your roster is on line our committee determines who can be bumped down when ask.

You will also need to purchase Insurance. While USSSA insurance is not required, we recommend it. If you purchase the USSSA insurance it gives us a faster way in helping you if needed. If you do not have USSSA insurance you must provide a copy before events.

We do have some rules we implement in our state. You can find them at infastpitch.usssa.com.  Along with rules you can find any info you need about events including our rain out policy.

Most of our events are four game guarantees. We play 4 pool into single elimination. 

Time limits can vary from event to event. Each week the tournament director should send out info to the teams in that directors event. Each director may adopt their own time limit polices. 

Indiana USSSA events under Tim Foster are 70 to 75 minute games completing all innings played, Indoor will be played with a drop dead in pool only.

Protest fees:

Protest can be done at anytime. If you want to protest it is $150 cash if you win protest you will get fees back.

Event fees and gate fees:

Tournament fees are set by each director for their own events. They will vary due to the cost of certain parks and rental agreements. 

You will see increases where turf fields are used, due to the cost of renting those facilities. 

Gate fees vary from:

Weekend passes $25 weekend to Daily $15, especially on turf fields.

Some weekend will be $20 and $15

Senior discounts for Tim Foster events weill be $10 for seniors and allows them to get in all weekend.

On all weeklend walkin events our staff will assist helping put bans on all spectators as they must be worn at all times.

Indiana USSSA furishes all the balls for their events.. 

USSSA doe not contol any consession as they are ran by parks.

In Indiana we all run different type of events: 

State is a 3 game bracket

4 game guarantees

5 game guaratees

6 game guaratees

7 game guarantees.

All directors set their own fees and refunds in case of imclement weather.
